Today, I received a call that has changed my life.
Today, the call was about a PAP test from last week. Abnormal cells were found and I was told to go see an OBGYN. It was not a "lets do another in a few months" or "We'll keep an eye on it"
I haven't seen my OBGYN since my youngest was born nearly 10 years ago. Now I've had PAP's before but they were done by my family doc since about a year after her birth.
Of course every bad thought went running through my mind.
It's believed that it's might be the HPV. I've only had one lover in my 49 years and he has had around 5. Since it can be transmitted only via sexual contact then I got it from him. We were married but have since divorced and I know that he is moving on to others.
So I told him that he might be a carrier and any future lover he has will need to know.
